THE FOUR STEPS
What happens after you send the details
The same team carries the shipment through every step. Nothing is handed to a different department halfway.
STEP 01
Request a quote
You send your shipment details through the quote form, or you call and we take them down. A person reads every enquiry. If something is unclear, the commodity, the lane, or the timing, we come back with one short set of questions rather than a second form.
WHAT YOU GET
- A named contact who owns the enquiry
- A quote covering freight, handling, and documentation
- The lane, mode, and any conditions written down
STEP 02
Booking and documentation
Once you accept the quote we book the carrier and prepare the paperwork. For sea freight that includes the bill of lading. For import and export we coordinate the customs documentation with the relevant parties, so the file is complete before the cargo moves.
WHAT YOU GET
- Confirmed booking with the carrier
- Bill of lading and shipping documents prepared
- Customs documentation coordinated before arrival
STEP 03
Cargo movement and status updates
Your cargo moves and the same person who quoted it stays on the file. You hear from us at the points that matter: departure, arrival, clearance, and release. If a schedule or a lane changes, you hear it from us with the options, rather than finding out later.
WHAT YOU GET
- Updates at departure, arrival, clearance, and release
- One person answering, not a ticket queue
- Early notice when a schedule changes
STEP 04
Delivery and confirmation
We arrange the final leg to your door, your warehouse, or an onward carrier, and confirm the delivery in writing. The file closes with the documents you need for your own records and accounts.
WHAT YOU GET
- Final-leg haulage arranged and confirmed
- Written confirmation once delivered
- Documents handed back for your records
BEFORE YOU START
What to have ready for an accurate quote
Approximate numbers are fine. A quote that starts with rough figures moves faster than one that waits for perfect ones.
Always needed
Without these we have to come back with questions before we can price anything.
- What the cargo is, and roughly how much
- Where it starts and where it ends
- Your preferred mode, if you have one
- A contact who can answer questions on it
- Any specific handling instructions or requirements
Helpful if you have it
These sharpen the quote and save a round trip of questions.
- Ready date, or the date it must arrive
- Weight or volume, even approximate
- Incoterms, if they are already agreed
- Special handling, temperature, or stacking limits
- Delivery address, including any specific instructions
